Launch of The Midlands Gathering Festival this Thursday

The Midlands Gathering Festival runs from Thursday March 28 to Monday April 1 in Moate.

It will be like an Easter weekend you have never experienced before, the organisers promise.

The official launch is this Thursday night, March 14, in Egan’s Pub in Moate (7.30-9.30pm) and all are welcome to attend.

Special guests include Meteor Award winning Luan Parle and actor Sam Keeley (chef Philip from Raw), who will officially launch the festival.

The Midlands Gathering Festival’s big event – Love Irish, Love The Midlands Show – is on Easter Sunday (March 31) in Dun Na Sí Heritage Centre in Moate (noon to 6pm).

Dun Na Sí will be transformed into a nostalgia heaven to include The Gig Rig with PictureHouse, Luan Parle, The Beermats, a Celtic Village, a dedicated children’s entertainment area, the Easter bunny, Spoken Word area, food and craft market and lots more!

But before Easter Sunday, make your way to Egan’s in Moate and help launch The Midlands Gathering Festival in style this Thursday night.
