Young Mullingar musicians listen up!

Tyrone Productions, with RTÉ Young Peoples are looking for ten music mad, ambitious and hard working teenagers to take part in the next series of MUSIC INC.

The series will see you get a backstage pass to meet and work for some of the biggest names in the music industry.

Last year eight Irish students took part in the show MUSIC INC – a challenge based series fronted by Liam McKenna – one of Ireland and the UK’s leading tour managers.

Over three months they worked with Liam to complete real industry challenges – including producing a cover version of The Saturdays hit What About Us , co-ordinating JLS appearance at a huge music festival, designing and creating a new piece of merchandise for The Wanted.

If you’re a huge pop music fan and dream about someday working in the music industry and if you’re between 13–15 years old, this could be your chance!

The ten teenagers will be set a different challenge in each episode which will see them tested creatively, organisationally and socially in their attempt to avoid elimination and stay in the competition.

The only qualifications necessary is a passion for the music industry, a desire to learn all you can and a determination to succeed.

IMPORTANT - You need to have your parents’/guardians’ permission to participate, a valid passport and be available to participate in the programme which will be filmed at various dates throughout April - September of 2014 (a maximum commitment of 30 days if you stay in the competition until the end) .
