Complete stone roses at the fence

On Friday July 3, The Complete Stone Roses recreate the ‘Madchester’ atmosphere of the 1990s, in The Fence, Mullingar.

From the early beginnings of performing with one of their heroes, Mani on stage, to the festival stomping appearances of T in the Park, Oxegen and Isle Of Wight, as well as shows in Sydney, Bahrain, Dubai and Amsterdam, these lads have proven that tribute bands can be successful in their own right.

The manager of The Fence, Declan Murphy, says: “We’re thrilled to have them here as the first band to launch the new live music stage in The Fence.

“They’ve created a fan-base like no other and became a cult band for fans of indie music. There have been many highlights of their career and this should be one fantastic gig.”

Their experience includes appearances on the BBC, RTÉ, and NRK (in Scandinavia) and radio work, so The Complete Stone Roses have crossed all boundaries of what specialised cover bands can achieve.

There’s more to come too, thanks to a solid management foundation and a committed team of musicians and crew. They have plans for TV documentaries and bigger and better projects.

They also performed on stage on three occasions with their hero and Stone Roses legend Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, who has been quoted as saying: “the Completes play better live than we ever did!”.
