Photo Competition

Entries will be split into 3 categories

Under 12 year of age, 13 – 19 Years of age and 20 years and over

Each catergory winner will receive a prize courtesy of the camera department of Weirs Pharmacy and a family season ticket to Belvedere House and Gardens and their pictures will of course be published in the Westmeath Examiner.

Runners up in each catergory will also receive a highly commended certificate.

The closing date for all entries is Friday 18th September and judging will take place in time for the big event on the 27th September when as many entries as possible will be put on display in the reception area at Mullingar Arts centre and will also be available on our website.

Conditions of entering the competition:

- By entering the competition you are allowing your picture to be used for any future promotion by Discover Mullingar or a third party.

- We can not guarantee the safe return of any pictures supplied.

- All images can be sent by posted, emailed (mymullingar@westmeathexaminer.ie) or dropped into the Westmeath Examiner office.

300 DPI (Minimum) Pictures should be supplied in the following formats ONLY.

Printed format

- Prints no larger than 10x8

- Name, address and age needs to be marked clearly on the reverse of the picture or supplied on a separate sheet of paper.

Email

- Pictures to be JPEG or PDF

- Name, address and age must be included on all emails.

Dropped into the Westmeath Examiner

- Prints - as above

- Pictures can be downloaded from memory sticks or CD’s but will not be accepted if any virus is detected.

- Name, address and age details must be supplied by entrant.

Any pictures supplied without the entrants name and details will not be entered into the competition.
