Last Saturday night in The Downs GAA Centre another Westmeath Scor Sinsear final was decided and like all Lake County Scor finals this one turned out to be what all Scor followers within the county expected it to be, a real thriller.
With twelve clubs been represented and eight county titles at stake the large and appreciative crowd were treated to a great night of entertainment and competitions and above all good sportsmanship.
A Memorial night for Mullingar Shamrocks
Each year in a Westmeath County Final one club or another will outshine all of the others with some outstanding acts. Last year it was Ballymore, this year 2010 it was the turn of Mullingar Shamrocks, the town club dominated this year's events winning four county titles which is exactly half of all disciplines.
