One Direction for Madison Square

Mullingar teen Niall Horan will be invading New York City with One Direction as they have the honour of headlining Madison Square Garden on December 3!

The tickets are on sale from 5pm ET and if you're gonna be in NYC around that date, you better hurry, as their May June US tour sold out within minutes.

The 18-year-old former Coláiste Mhuire student is reported to be excited about playing the famous venue, and has said it's like a dream come true that 1D will be headlining their own concert where so many legendary acts have gone before.

And talking about legends - the X Factor band, who are also getting the Glee treatment, had to turn down First Lady Michelle Obama to appear in the annual Easter Egg Roll because they are touring Australia this weekend!

Glee teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) will cover What Makes You Beautiful and plans to watch Niall and the rest of the One Direction lads perform the song online before performing it himself.

One Direction's debut album Up All Night has just reached number one in 13 countries!
