Congratulations Bernie and John

Well done! Bernie Creevy and John Reilly have won the 2012 Wedding Giveaway.

"I'm completely shocked - I wasn't expecting to win, I never win anything."

Those were John Reilly's words a few minutes after he discovered he and his bride-to-be Bernie Creevy had won the Westmeath Examiner, Annebrook Hotel Wedding Giveaway.

Bernie and John came out on top of the voting, it was announced at the grand finale in the Annebrook last night (Wednesday August 22), and the second the words left the lips of MC, Kevin Matthews, there was a huge cheer from their families and friends.

The couple have already started planning their wedding - for June of next year - and, as Bernie said, "this means we don't have to save now!".

She thanked everyone who supported them, family and friends, and especially Shane Byrne, her manager at Spar in Ardleigh Vale.
