Brother and sister charged with Mullingar native's murder

The two people held for questioning over the death of 63-year-old Thomas Horan have been charged with murder.

A brother and sister were arrested following Mr Horan’s killing at his home in Cambridge Court at Dublin’s Ringsend.

Mr Horan, originally from Mullingar, was found dead in his apartment at the senior citizen’s complex, in the early hours of Monday morning last (January 6).

It is understood that his remains were discovered by a friend on the ground floor of the apartment.
