Niall Horan has experienced plenty of highs over the last few years with One Direction, but he is still very excited about this weekend's gigs in Croke Park.

Last night the young singer told his 18.4m Twitter followers that he couldn't wait for this weekend's sell-out homecoming shows: "Lyin in bed! Thinkin this weekend is gonna be hands down the best weekend of my life!"

With over 250,000 1D fans set to converge on Croker over Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings, promoters MCD have warned that there will be strict restrictions in place for children. Under 14s will who have pitch tickets will be turned away, while U16s will also be turned away if they are unaccompanied by an adult.
