Coffee and a walkathon for north westmeath hospice

Celebrating 35 years in business today, Lloyds Pharmacy at Tesco, Mullingar are holding a Coffee Morning and Walkathon in aid of Westmeath Hospice.

They are also giving 2% of all monies raised to the Irish Hospice Foundation to help the organisation throughout Ireland.

The staff at Lloyds Pharmacy have two treadmills installed at their store and are inviting the public to take part.

Each of the employees are walking an average of 6kms per hour, beginning at 10am this morning, and running until 6pm this evening.

Mairead Cheevers of Lloyds Pharmacy says celebrations are taking place across the chain throughout Ireland.

“We are celebrating all weekend and there are great offers in store for all our loyal customers whom we’d like to thank for their continued support. So come on and join in the fun!”
