Lions club hosts health work and wellbeing seminar

• Do you feel like you are on top of things?
• Are you achieving your goals at home, at work and in sport?
• Can we do it all ?
• How do elite sport people and business people cope?

Mullingar Lions Club are hosting a Health, Work and Wellbeing Seminar next month, when the special guest speaker on the night will be Caroline Currid, who has worked with organisations and individuals in the boardroom, on the playing field and in the community to help improve their performance.

Caroline has a number of clients in sports and business, where the result of her work is evident in many successful teams within Ireland and abroad.

These include three All-Ireland winning senior GAA Teams, Muster Rugby, Kenyan Olympic athletes, and from the business world, Genzyme, O2, Lotus Automation, Bank of Ireland and Mercer, to name but a few.

The sports panel will consist of Richie Power, All-Ireland winning hurler, players from the successful Dublin football team, and Sinead Sheridan from Niall Moynihan’s staff in DCU, who specialises in preventive medicine.

The club are assembling a business panel that will include some well-known industry and business leaders, who will provide insights and discuss their views on tying health and wellbeing into your working life.

This promises to be an informative evening, aimed at parents, students, and anyone looking to achieve their goals in sport or in achieving work life balance, or just to get an insight into the mindset of some of the country’s elite sports and business people.

Book a place in your diary now: Wednesday February 4 at 8pm in The Greville Arms Hotel, Mullingar. Entry €10 for adults, €5 for children/students.
