Michaela Hogg hoping to impress Voice of Ireland judges

This Sunday is the final blind audition in the Voice of Ireland – and 18 year old Michaela Hogg from Mullingar is hoping to get chosen.

Although just 18, Michaela is an experienced performer.

She sang in Croke Park at the senior hurling final in front of an audience of 82,000 and won Scor Encore 2 years ago. She has been waiting til she turned 18 to enter The Voice and her chance has finally arrived. Michaela will be singing You Can’t Hurry Love by the Supremes.

The coaches need just 2 or 3 acts to fill their teams. This is when it gets difficult, they are anxious that they have enough space just in case the potential winner is still out there!

This week contest sees Una Foden’s cousin audition,  there is a singing taxi driver from Meath, animal lovers, a contestants from 2013 and a settled traveller who could give Kelly Mongan a run for her money!
