Spine-tingling performance of Ireland's Call by Westmeath schoolkids

These youngsters from schools around Westmeath showed the extent of their patriotic pride with a spine-tingling version of the rousing rugby anthem Ireland's Call at the Arts Centre in Mullingar earlier today (Wednesday).

Attending a music education event featuring the Army Band, the kids threw heart and soul into their rendition of the stirring song when invited to sing along with the soldiers.

Singing as fervently as if in the Aviva Stadium itself, they swayed to the rhythm and some even held their hands to their hearts.

Even the army musicians were thrilled by and impressed with the performance – and they're musicians who get called upon to play ahead of Ireland's international fixtures!
