APPEAL: Bride-to-be wants stolen ring back

A bride-to-be is appealing to have her engagement ring, which was stolen from her home in Killucan this week after a gang of theives broke-in through a bedroom window, returned to her.

Mairead Duignan from Greenhills, Killucan, talked to Midlands 103 this morning where she explained that she and finacé Conor are getting married on March 23 this year.

The The incident happened on Wednesday evening, between 6.15pm and 7.45pm, and as well as taking the engagement ring that holds so much sentimental value, the culprits took cash, a boxed and un-opened LGTV, and items of clothing.

The couple are hoping that the power of social media can hopefully bring their belongings back to them.
