Anna Daly will MC the Westmeath Style Awards

Meet your host for the Westmeath Style Awards 2018

Anna Daly is an award-winning anchor presenter on TV3’s National flagship breakfast shows, Saturday AM and Sunday AM. Anna also recently presented the TV3 primetime lifestyle TV show, Dream House, with co-host Darren Kennedy.

A proud UNICEF ambassador, Anna is mother to three little boys as well as brand ambassador for Mothercare, SEAT cars and the Marie Keating Foundation. Anna began her on-screen career presenting reports for weekday breakfast TV show, Ireland AM.

Today Anna anchors the popular live weekend breakfast shows, Saturday AM and Sunday AM, which she and the team launched in 2015. Covering everything from food and style to entertainment and current affairs, both shows have exceeded all ratings targets.

Anna has enjoyed exclusive Irish access to sit-down interviews with the stars – from academy award winning actress Kate Winslet to Will Ferrell, Robbie Williams and Chris O’Dowd. Anna has talked style and business (among other things!) with Khloe Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and Jo Malone, but is equally at ease with sporting greats like Rory McIlroy and Gary Lineker. She’s exchanged recipes with Jamie Oliver and gone backstage to chat to rock legends Kiss and guitarist Slash, and was granted an exclusive interview about life and music with U2’s Adam Clayton.

It’s all in a day’s work for Anna, who will handle whatever is thrown at her with ease and confidence, regardless of how last minute it might be! Broadcasting live in-studio (as well as at international destinations for the show), Anna has honed her TV presenting skills in an environment where there’s little room for error or nerves; live TV three hours daily.

Anna sites astronaut Chris Hadfield and Dame Helen Mirren as her favourite guests to interview but is also quick to recognise that often it’s the ‘ordinary people’ who provide the most extraordinary TV moments.
Graduating with an International Marketing degree (MII), Anna is from Dublin and calls herself ‘an accidental TV presenter’. As marketing manager for the TV3 network, she was nominated for Image Magazine Young Business Woman of the Year in 2008, before taking the plunge in to an on-screen career.

Since then Anna has bagged multiple awards for presenting and style including the People’s Choice Award at the TVNow Awards and Celebrity Mum of the Year as well as joining the esteemed judging panel for the inaugural Pride of Ireland Awards. Anna is married to Ben and they have three boys; James (6), Euan (4) and Rhys (15 months). Life is busy and home is noisy but Anna wouldn’t have it any other way!
