The opening of the much anticipated annual Midland Artists Exhibition will take place in the Market House Gallery, Mullingar on Thursday, December 3. The Midland Artists Exhibition is a collection of work from the top thirty amateur artists who work who live locally and like to dabble in some painting during their spare time. The expo always receives a great response from the public, so this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase and spot some hidden treasures and everyone is welcome to attend.Speaking about the new exhibition, Heidi Vambeck said the response this year has been incredible: "The Midland Artists Exhibition shows just how many talented artists in our midst," commented Heidi, "And the selection panel have really had a tough job deciding the final pieces for the show because the talent this year has been so high."Running from December 3 to December 22, the Midland Artists Expo is well worth any art lover's while dropping in for a browse or to pick up that Christmas gift for your loved one, or indeed for yourself. All exhibits take the recession into account, so you'll be pleasantly surprised to see just what you can bag for your bucks and it may even encourage you to pick up a brush to see if a Picasso lies within!
