Catwalk to showcase local talent

Hotstepping down the catwalk this spring is the Rotary Club, showcasing the fashion scene in Mullingar.

In association with Mullingar's leading boutiques, the Rotary Club will hold its third annual Fashion Show in the Mullingar Park Hotel, on March 26th at 7.30pm.

This year, the stunning lasses modelling the clothes will all be Mullingar models from the Joli Midlands Model Agency.

Agency founder Lisa Corrigan is delighted that her new agency was invited to participate in the fashion event of the year:

"This is all so exciting. I am currently liasing with the shops to match up the models with the clothes that will be featuring on the catwalks. Mullingar is a great town for fashion and we are lucky to have the incredible clothes stores that we do. This event will be a great night out and we are proud to be a part of this incredible fundraising effort."

The event is billed by organisers as the premier fashion show in the midlands and this year it promises to be a glittering gala of a night."

As well as an opportunity to see the latest spring and summer fashions available in Mullingar boutiques, there will be a cocktail reception, bar entertainment and the now famous mega raffle with incredible prizes.

All proceeds from the show will go directly to local charities. The fashion event has already raised €45,000 since the first event in 2008.

Tickets can be obtained from many participating boutiques, the Park Hotel and members of the Rotary Club.
