Bressie's back to rock at home

In just two days, Mullingar's hottest pop rocker, Bressie, returns to The Greville Arms Hotel for a personal highlight of his nationwide tour - his hometown gig.

Speaking last week, Bressie said he splits his time between London and Ireland now, but when he comes home to Mullingar "people know I'm there for a break and generally leave me alone".

Even so, it is generally one of his more demanding gigs, given the pressure to perform and be at his best for his friends and family.

The 31-year-old has just released the fifth single from his best-selling album Colourblind Stereo - Android Heart, which he co-wrote with Tom Gray from Gomez.

According to the six-foot-seven heart-throb, the song was inspired by Marvin the Android from The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

Android Heart was produced by Niall and Jimbo Barry in Sphere Studios London, while the video, directed by Thomas Goldser, who also directed Bressie's previous hits Can't Stay Young Forever and Good Intentions, was filmed in London in early May 2012.

Android Heart is a available to now from all good digital retailers.

But check Bressie out live this Saturday July 14 in The Greville Arms in Mullingar!
