With such a wide range of self- tans, it can sometimes be difficult to choose the right one for you. From gradual to instant, to creams, lotions, mousses and sprays and so on, there is one to suit all skin types and preferences.
Instant tans are a quick and easy to apply. My favourite is the St. Tropez Instant Tan®. It can be used on the face and body and is water and transfer resistant for 24 hours so it won’t come off on clothes or sheets! It is so easy to use and glides onto the skin leaving a gorgeous golden tan.
Mousse tans can be applied with a tanning mitt, they dry instantly so you can redress immediately after application and are suitable generally for oily or normal skin types. For those with drier skin I would recommend using lotions, they will moisturise, hydrate and nourish the skin but can take a little longer to dry.
Applying tan with a tanning mitt can make a huge difference to the finished result. They are designed to give a flawless streak free finish. They are reusable, washable and inexpensive to buy.
