Robbie Kenny of Kenny’s Koal Kabin, Mullingar, is the main sponsor of St Loman’s GAA, a club which has been close to the hearts of Robbie and his family for many years and who are also the 2015 Senior Football Champions. St Loman’s came into existence as Mental Hospital GAA in 1910, and has risen from strength to strength over the years, winning their first senior football championship in 1948. The Underage Academy has since produced many stars, including current senior county players Paul Sharry, Shane Dempsey and John Heslin who reached this year’s Leinster Final, and Aileen Martin, Ciara Blundell, and Sandra McGrath, all members of the ladies panel which contested the senior Leinster Final.

Robbie, son of Kenny’s Koal Kabin proprietor Liam Kenny,played in St Loman’s first underage team when the underagestructure was first established in 1984. He played on everyunderage team thereafter, going on to play senior football for15 years, whilst managing and coaching all underage teams. Robbie’s sons now play for St Loman’s U11and U12 teams.
