St Joseph's, Rochfortbridge face Navan or Moate draw in Leinster Colleges SFC

An intriguing draw awaits St Joseph's, Rochfortbridge in the quarter-finals of the Leinster Colleges SF 'A' championship, in the shape of either a Westmeath derby or a daunting trip to Navan.

Luke Dempsey's charges will face the winners of the the as-yet unplayed second round game between St Pat's, Navan and Moate Community School, which was postponed last weekend due to inclement weather conditions.

St Pat's and Moate meet in Páirc Tailteann tomorrow (Wednesday) night.

The 'Bridge progressed to the last eight after an impressive 4-9 to 0-8 win over Ardscoil na Trionóide, Athy last Thursday (see today's Westmeath Examiner for a report).

Jack Gorman (0-3), Darren Giles and Ian Kilcoyne (0-2 each) led the point scoring, while goals from Niall McCabe, Finbar Coyne, Fergal McGuinness and Dylan Raleigh did the damage.

The quarter-final draw, made last night, will see Marist College, Athlone face Wicklow Schools at home, with last year's semi-finalists the favourites to progress against the school from the south-east.

The quarter-finals will be contested on Saturday February 15, unless schools agree an alternative date.

The semi-finals, which take place on Saturday March 1, will see the Westmeath schools avoid each other should they progress.

The full draw is as follows:
