New horizons for Westmeath GAA as Club Iarmhi draw is launched

Westmeath GAA and Club Iarmhí, officially launch their 2016 Fundraising Members’ Draw in The Sheraton Hotel, Athlone on Saturday February 6 at 7.30pm and in the Annebrook Hotel, Mullingar on Sunday February 7 at 7.30pm, to which you all are cordially invited to attend.

This fundraising arm of Westmeath GAA has grown significantly since being founded in 2015, bringing its members a notably increased prize fund of €30,000 this year. Further to this initiative, local company TEG has become the new, title sponsor of Cusack Park and Club Iarmhí for 2016.

“It’s a T.E.A.M. game - Together Everybody Achieves More,’ says Michael Ryan, Westmeath Senior Hurling Manager.

“This year’s fundraising initiative is very inclusive across all codes – each forming an integral part of the one family,” says Tommy Kelly, from local business TEG who are the new title sponsors.

“The results to date in all pre-season competitions have been very encouraging and augur well for a successful season ahead,” cites Paul Daly, Chairman of Club Iarmhí.

Membership this year is €100, and in return each member receives:
A ticket for the members’ draw; Four vouchers, worth €80, for the Annebrook House Hotel Mullingar, The Sheraton Hotel, Athlone, and The Silver Oak Indian Restaurants in both Athlone and Mullingar respectively; a DVD of the notable Westmeath vs. Meath victory in 2015; a newly designed car sticker for 2016.

A bespoke website had been created this year - www.clubiarmhi.ie with dedicated pages for each code. All sponsors and supporters are cordially invited to attend our launches in The Sheraton Hotel, Athlone on Saturday February 6 at 7.30pm and in the Annebrook Hotel, Mullingar on Sunday February 7 at 7.30pm.

We would appreciate your help to provide our teams with the backing and support that their dedication and commitment so richly deserve. Iarmhí Abú!
