St Finian's College presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat this week

The first musical production in St Finian’s College for 21 years debuts tomorrow, Wednesday March 6, at 7.30pm. 

The transition year students worked hard on their production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, directed by teachers Caoimhe Kennedy and Daniel Connell, with assistance from local choreographer Allanah Jordan. 

“We began auditioning near the end of October then began rehearsals in September,” said Daniel. 

Businesses and shops around Mullingar sponsored the show, including Mullingar Credit Union. 

The show stars Óran O’Brien as the titular Joseph, Shane Quinn as his father Jacob, Harry McGrath as the Pharaoh, and a chorus of narrators including Ellie-ann Smith, Cliodhna Reagan, Ashley McCormack, and Ellen O’Brien. 

It run till Friday, March 8. 

Tickets (€10) are available at Fagan’s and the Learning Lab, and at the school office.
