Belvedere bus pilot service continues in half-term break

The evenings are drawing in but October is delivering with sunshine, bright blue skies and a warmth for all the hours it can.

Now, as the school half-term break begins, the Mullingar Tour Bus pilot service is still connecting the town centre with Belvedere and the Royal Canal Greenway.

The mayor of Mullingar, Cllr Aoife Davitt, and the cathaoirleach of the county council, Cllr Frankie Keena, have endorsed the service, having seen for themselves how lovely it is to travel to a beautiful place like Belvedere by bus.

The service is run by TFI Local Link Longford Westmeath Roscommon.

The pilot service is running each weekend in October and daily for the mid-term break.

In other good news for Belvedere House Gardens and Park, Simply Irish Cafés commenced service from today, Friday October 22.
