Dancers draw crowds wherever they go

Local dance groups were out in force during the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann last week. The young dancers from Feely/Bates Dance School performed on the North Midlands Credit Union Gig Rig in Blackhall Place on Monday evening and went down a storm.

At exactly the same time over at the Gig Rig 2 at the Friars Mill Road Car Park, the Fiona Gallagher Dance School's members danced their hearts out much to the delight of the wet, but appreciative crowd. The dance school made a second appearance on the Gig Rig 2 on Wednesday evening.

Away from the gig rigs, local dancers showcased their talents on the streets of Mullingar throughout the week. Among the local dance groups to take the streets was the Fusion Fighters, whose performance on Market Square on Thursday evening drew a large crowd.
