Some showers but fairly settled spell to continue

Dry in many areas today with cloudy periods and some sunshine along with isolated light showers. The best chance of sunshine will be across the east and south of the country.

Patchy light rain or drizzle will affect coastal areas of the west and northwest at times. Rather humid with highest temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees in moderate southerly breezes.

TONIGHT

Mostly dry overnight with some clear spells. However, cloud will increase in Atlantic coastal counties later with the chance of patchy rain there towards dawn on Wednesday.

Lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in moderate southerly breezes.

TOMORROW

It looks set to be rather cloudy on Wednesday. There will be long dry periods along with occasional outbreaks of rain or drizzle, mainly affecting west Munster, Connacht and west Ulster.

Maximum temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees in moderate to fresh southerly winds.
