Haunted house gave proper scare at Andean Alpacas Pumpkin Carving Experience

"The best part of the Andean Alpacas Pumpkin Carving Experience was the pumpkin patch, and the alpacas," said Ruby (10), who visited on Saturday evening.

"It was all great, except for the haunted house! That was a bit scary, though it might be a place that teenagers would like."

"Overall it was a good experience, I’d recommend it."

Cousins Ruby, Emily, Oisin, Amber and Luke picking their pumpkins on Saturday evening.

Her cousin Amber (also 10) agreed that "it was good, even the haunted house, though it was very scary.

"They had it done up very well, it’d give you a proper scare.

"Overall it was tonnes of fun, I must say."

Oisin (6) thought that "carving the pumpkin and feeding the alpacas" were the best parts. "We fed them hay."

"The most scary part was definitely the haunted house – it was too scary for me!"

Emily (8) said: "My favourite part was meeting the alpacas. They’re very hungry and they’ll always take your food.

"The haunted house was really scary, I think they did really well with making it scary, and the actors were really good.

"The pumpkin carving was also good, but if you’re going, you might want to wears boots because it’s muddy!"
