Women in Business: Angel Art

What does it mean to be a woman in business in 2023? It is having the courage to own who you are, know what it is you want to achieve and working hard to make vision into reality, says Joanne Daly of Angel Art. It is important to have a good team and lead that team confidently, so they too can see your vision and be included in that journey. I’m extremely lucky to have that team behind me!

After the pandemic, and with the ever growing cost of living, it’s not easy for any business to stay afloat, let alone grow or expand, but here at Angel Art, through team work, determination, blood, sweat and tears we did just that.

Last year, we relocated to bigger premises, to bring more services and product lines to our customers.

We now have a larger studio area and several booths for body piercing, airbrush and henna tattoos. Our tattoo area houses our resident tattoo artists and the guest artists who come on a regular basis, and the gift shop is a wondrous attack on the senses!

You are even welcome to just call in, sit in the library area (stocked with classics, self help titles and more, and treat yourself to a pot of herbal tea from ‘The Apothecary’, (another little addition for our much appreciated customers).

We have a lot going on and no it’s not easy to juggle everything, but isn’t that what we women are well renowned for? Doing 100 things at the same time – are we not the masters of multi tasking!
