Rahugh tractor run best yet, thanks to sunny weather

The Rahugh Hall Development Association Annual Tractor Run on November 2 raised funds that will go towards the maintenance and upkeep of Rahugh Community Hall.

The sunny weather helped make this year’s the most successful run to date, as there were 67 tractor entries. The organisers were delighted to see families at the church car park for the start of the run, and everyone had great fun.

The route took the tractors and drivers through Tyrrellspass, out the Kilbeggan Road and back to the Hazel in Rahugh, where refreshments were served and music was by Neil Moran and The Still House.

“To everyone who took part, we appreciate your support. Thank you to all our sponsors, stewards, the Hazel, Neil and the band and also to all Rahugh Hall Committee members for the efforts in making this a day to remember in Rahugh.”
