The Belvedere Family Carnival opens to the public on referendum day, Thursday May 31, and with all primary schools closed, it's a chance to get away from all the doom and gloom with a trip to the biggest travelling fun fair in Ireland this summer.For five days - till Monday June 4 over the bank holiday weekend, the Belvedere Family Carnival offers unlimited rides and all the fun of the fair for one great value price. This includes access to Belvedere House Gardens and Park.New rides have been added, including the Super Bob and Giant Sizzler. There will be hot air balloons on Saturday and Monday, offering tethered rises of 30 metres to view Lough Ennell and on Saturday and Monday evenings, there will be major launches from the parkland with night-glow visible from all around in the evening light.The Belvedere Family Carnival is in the main Belvedere Car Park and diversions will apply to parking and normal entry from Monday May 28 until Tuesday June 5.There will be normal admission and season ticket access during all this period, including the staging of the carnival. Season ticket holders qualify for a range of value upgrades to include unlimited access to the carnival over the June bank holiday weekend. Unlimited rides do not include the Reverse Bungee Sling Shot ride, Game Stalls or confectionary/food vendors but does include tethered hot air balloon rises.
