Foster and Allen's new TV show
After over three decades in the music business, Foster and Allen continue to scale new heights with a new TV series - The Foster and Allen Show.The programme is set to air on Monday September 24, on SKY Channel 191 and Showcase TV, at 7-8pm.They are the first Irish music act to have their own weekly TV series on SKY Television, and it will be broadcast across Ireland, the UK and many countries in mainland Europe.The hour-long TV stint will feature music, entertainment and other artists, kicking off with the late great Joe Dolan and footage from a special Gay Byrne Radio Show, never before broadcast.Other guest artists in the first few weeks include Daniel O'Donnell and The Irish Rovers.The Foster And Allen Show is truly a Westmeath production, as the editing and post production stage was carried out by Mick Bracken Productions and Niall McGowan (NRG TV Productions), both in Mullingar, while the studio recordings were filmed at Roseland Studios in Moate.Mick and Tony are currently finalising their new album, The Ultimate Collection, two CDs of all their hit songs plus 12 new recordings, which is due for release on Friday November 9.Ahead of a UK tour commencing on October 30, they will appear at The Ardboyne Hotel, Navan on Wednesday September 26.
