Landowners asked to help in search for missing man

Missing Mullingar man, Seán Bond

Searches have been continuing this week in the effort to locate missing Mullingar man, Seán Bond. Mr Bond (51) has been missing from his home in Greenpark Meadows since Christmas Eve, December 24. Along with searches of part of Lough Ennell and the River Brosna, land adjacent to both waterways has also been included in the searches.

On Thursday afternoon, the gardaí in Mullingar issued an appeal for landowners, particularly members of the farming community, to check their land and holdings, including outbuildings, to see if they yield any clue as to Mr Bond's whereabouts. Property owners, who may have vacant properties in the greater Mullingar area, have also been asked to check their premises.

The gardaí can be contacted at Mullingar Garda Station (044) 93 84000 or through the Garda Confidential Line on 1 800 666 111.
