Mullingar wins thumbs up from Leinster in bid to host 2020 All-Ireland Fleadh

Mullingar has crossed a significant hurdle on its way to becoming host town for the All-Ireland Fleadh for 2020.

A team from the Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann has just this (Sunday) afternoon, approved Mullingar as Leinster’s nomination for the event.

The Committee along with #PatGallagher of #WestmeathCountyCouncil achieved the endorsement on the first count to see off Wexford, Offaly and Laois.

Westmeath Comhaltas now moves forward to the all-Ireland decision in March 2019. Thank you again for all the support to date.
