Kinnegad Notes
On Saturday Amie Giles, daughter of Claire and Michael Rossan Kinnegad, took her first National title in winning the girls under 16 1500m at the AAI Indoor Championships at Nenagh.
Amie won with a clear margin beating last year`s outdoor champion Mary Jones of D.S.D into 2nd place and the talented Neville twins from Blarney.
Amie`s time of 4:57:32 is an outstanding achievement and the fact that she left such a talented field trailing in her wake leaves her in a great position to build on this success in the future. Well done Amie!
