Community Games D.L.B.C. - Training resumes on Thursday, 1st May from 7.00-8.00 o`clock in Loughnavalley Hall, for our Westmeath and Leinster Under 10 Draughts Champions. These seven young men will be heading to Mosney for the All Ireland semi-final on Saturday, 24th May and hopefully the All Ireland final on Sunday, 25th May or alternately a third place play-off on the Sunday.

For the next four Thursdays in May the boys will be practising in Loughnavalley Hall between 7.00-8.00p.m., and would love to play different people.

So, if there is anyone from the area who would like a game of draughts on any of the Thursdays, please come along. The more games the boys play against different people, the better they, hopefully, become. Maybe there are teenagers who played draughts down the years, perhaps you might be able to come along on some of the Thursdays, we would love to have your company!
