National Football League champions support gala charity concert

The strength of an entire football team - and a winning one at that - is being pitched behind a major fundraising event taking place in Mullingar this Thursday night.

The National Football League championship winning team, Westmeath, will be supporting the gala fundraising concert in aid of the North Westmeath Hospice Homecare Foundation and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association that is taking place at the Mullingar Park Hotel.

The Gala Concert will feature a host of local artists and apecial guests. A wonderful evening`s entertainment is guaranteed as the crème of local talent takes to the stage.

Also on the night there will be a monster auction and raffle with a number of very valuable lots and prizes up for grabs. So make a date in your diary and dig deep to support these two very worthwhile charities - the North Westmeath Hospice Homecare Foundation and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association.
