Good turnout for turkey competition on Sunday

On Sunday morning, November 16th, we held our second turkey competition. There was a large turnout of members taking part. Format Scotch Foursome as we did not have an equal number. One member played two balls. This player was Charley McHugh, who won the feathers and is now looking for a plucker. Don"t worry Charley, the county is full of them.Jim Gill says he can pluck with one hand tied behind his back. On Saturday, November 15th, the cream of our players travelled to Lock Owl to find the best player in our club. After 36 holes, the pairing of Charley McHugh and Jim Gill came out on top. Having been three down at the green, bringing the last three to level the score, with Pat McCarthy and Sonny Heeney. So it was sudden death. Charley and Jim Bindey were the first to come out on top. Well done to both. Our turkey competition continues each Sunday at 10a.m. So lets have more feathers flying around the Bridge.Junior 3-ball scrambleIs this a first for Rochfortbridge Pitch and Putt Club or in the world of pitch and putt. This Junior 3-ball scramble will take place in Rochfortbridge next April 25th to 26th. At a recent Co.
