It"s all about the cheese!

You could say every everybody wanted a piece of Joe Dolan when Mary Kelly of Moonshine Farm, Mullingar, presented her unusual cheese sculpture of local singing hero and showband star, Joe Dolan last week at the 25th anniversary of Irish Farmhouse Cheese Makers.It was all about the cheese last week when people from all over Ireland visited the Cashel Palace Hotel in Tipperary for the annual get-together of Irish cheese makers.But Mary Kelly stood out from all the other 'big cheeses' with her striking cheese representation of Joe Dolan, complete with white suit!Mary has always been a huge fan of the Mullingar singer: 'For the 25th anniversary, we were asked to make something connected with our area, so I had the idea of either the Jealous Wall or Joe Dolan,' says Mary. Since the Jealous Wall proved too difficult to make, she and arist sister-in law decided decided to go with Joe instead.
