Locke"s Distillery recently hosted a presentation and celebration for everyone who has successfully completed their FETAC computer training courses through the SWEETS office.MC for the evening was SWEETS director Dan Grehan and Nuala O"Brien, Community Education Facilitator with the Westmeath VEC was on hand to present the hard won pieces of paper.Other distingushed guests on the evening included Kilbeggan Fianna Fail councillor Paul Daly and Labour councillor Ger Corcoran.'It is vital that we continue to put time and effort intio education and training, particularly in small commnunities,' said Ms O"Brien. 'All those who have completed courses and are here this evening to collect their certificates deserve to be praised for their dedication and effort.'Paul Daly also congratulated the recipients as well as praising SWEETS for its role at the heart of the Kilbeggan Community.'SWEETS has become as vital part of the town,' he said.
