Dear EditorI"m attempting to help a gentleman who has a strong interest in the names Fagan and Murtagh from the parish of Mayne, near Mullingar, Co Westmeath.Born c. 1st Nov. 1858 Michael Fagan, left for Dublin (police early 1880"s) his wife Julia Murtagh also from the parish of Mayne, parents William Murtagh and Ellen McIntyre.Michael and Julia emigrated to US 1912 with son Patrick.
