Collinstown Pitch and Putt notes

Whist: We held our Whist on Monday, January 26 and we had a great attendance of 12 tables at same which was wonderful. The folowing is a full list of winners.Top Score: Ena Clinton; 1st Lady: Margt. Our next one will be on Monday, February 23.Winter LeaguesOnce again the weather was the spoilsport as we had to cancel the first round of this competition because of the heavy snowfall on Sunday last. Hopefully, we will get it off the ground on Sunday, Febuary 22. We have 9 teams taking part in same, which is the biggest number of teams we have ever had.  Thanks to our Sponsors of Paddy Browne, Larry McGinn and Costcutters, Collinstown, who are sponsoring the weekly prizes and Joe and Kathleen Bray who are sponsoring the prizes for the overall winners and runners-up.   We are indebted to all those sponsors and we hope it will be a good competition as it has been in other years.   Thanks to our Competition Secretary, Larry McGinn who made the draw for same.Winter AllianceSunday next, February 15 will be the turn of Collinstown to host this competition.
