New band Ever27 play Valentine"s Night at the Stables

Had enough of all the red roses and romantic meals? Then this Valentines night get yourself, down to The Stables, Mullingar to see new band Ever27 support Dublin"s Coyboy X for a Valentine"s Night with a difference.Ever27 is made up of Mullingar"s Paul Feery on lead guitar and Eoin Fitzsimons on drums, both of Waiting to Explode, and Tanya O"Callaghan on bass (too many bands to mention) - all well known faces.Heading up the band is frontman Brendan McEvoy from Mountmellick, formally of Mesner, on vocals and rhythm guitar.McEvoy has a unique 'born to rock' voice, and his amazing song writing ability gives him that extra edge, which 'Ever27' ably exploit, recognizing it as that something crucial they need to stand out from the crowd and gain recognition from the main music industry players.Eoin Fitzsimons (aka 'Pony') on drums, has a powerful style that gives the band their tenacious backline and creates an energetic driving force within their music.The rhythm section is topped off by Tanya O Callaghan on bass, whose sheer levels of energy find expression through her rhythmic and dynamic style, strengthening Ever 27"s overall feel and sound.Lead guitarist Paul Feery can be described as a perfectionist when it comes to his music. As a guitarist he is noticeably influenced by many of the greats. Every part of his playing is full of passion which can be heard solidly throughout Ever27"s songs.Jjust nine days after these musicians first met, Ever27 were already in the studio laying down three tracks.It was simple, the four midland musicians found they shared common musical ideas, and a common musical vision. Now, as 'Ever27', they offer something new and fresh, adding a new layer to the rich seam of musical talent that has recently been uncovered in the midlands.Ever27"s coming together has created a unique and fresh style that oozes with passion, energy and an uplifting feeling.They plan to release their debut single 'Dead Angels' in April 09 and the album will follow later in the year. The band will be touring the country extensively, with plans to take in the third levels colleges and all the main venues nationwide in a bid to showcase their explosive live performances and anthem-filled set.
