Fun is the aim at Primary School Indoor Hurling

Indoor Hurling for Primary Schools continued last week with four blitzes in Street hall and two in Athlone I.T. All schools played a minimum of four games with the primary focus on fun for all involved.St. Mary"s Athlone, Gaelscoil an Muileann, Kilpatrick, Castletown-Geoghegan, Raharney and Castlepollard emerged victorious from their respective groups with great action in all Blitzes. Activity continues with further blitzes in Streete next Wednesday (25th) - and Camogie then running for the first week in March in both Athlone I.T. and Streete.Indoor Hurling at this time of the year is ideal in terms of skill development and with the ongoing difficult weather conditions indoor is the place to be!
