Athlone owner Denis Hannon supplied the winner of the fourth heat with Springwell Dot. This four to one winner broke in front and gave a smashing front running display to score by four lengths from dead heaters Frisky Fantasy and Top Louis in 33.43.Patrick Tormey recorded the first leg of a double in the 525 yds first race with Aranock Leanne which he trains for Mullingar owner Justin Farrell. After breaking in front she resisted the challenge of Paddys Jack to the last bend where she found an extra gear into the home straight to win by four and three quarters lengths in 30.37.Martina"s Class broke in front in the 525 yds second race and held pole position all the way to hold off the late challenge of Home Simon by one and a half lengths in 30.32. From a very fast start he made every yard of the running to win by two and a half lengths form Mascara in 22.28.Mulholland broke in front in the 400yds fifth race and led into the home straight where the well fancied Farley Brett came from off the pace in the late stages to snatch victory by three quarters of a length in 22.29 for his Derry owner Mrs Jennifer Walker.In an open betting seventh race over 400 yds Bag of Plaster took the lead in the early stages and held on under pressure from So Low to win by half a length in 22.41. The winner is owned in Kildare by Joseph Raleigh.Dysart owner Miss Joan Byrne supplied the winner of the 525 yds ninth race with Body Warmer. From a level break he took control rounding the first bend and gave a smashing front running display to win by two lengths from Frazers Lloyd in 30.00.In the 525 yds eleventh race Ceetee lad broke in front and powered home alone ten lengths clear form To Far Out in 29.93 for his Navan owner Oliver Casserley.Clonaslee trainer Mark Cusack supplied the winner of the 525 yds twelfth race with Doreha Prince which he owns in partnership with Noel Cusack. Three opening heats of the Tahina Kennels Open 400 and the Thomas McLoughlin unraced N2/N3 525 final.Royal Rocket having won his preliminary rounds of the Thomas McLoughlin unraced in 29.58 and 29.61 was 4/5 favourite to land this €1,825 to the winner, although led for most of the journey by Glencon. He found an extra gear down the home straight to win by a length and a quarter in 29.53. The winner is owned by Oliver Bray (Meath).Siberian Rive produced the goods from a lively start to take the opening race for Meath owner Peter McLoughlin by a length and a quarter from Wernham A6 in 30.00. The winner is trained by Carmel Finnegan.Local trainer Tony Fallon recorded a double on the night when his Timely Dream and Carnageehy Lass both obliged. The first of the double came in the second race when Timely Dream which is owned by Pat McMahon (Westmeath) finished best to win by a neck from longtime leader Ardavagga Dazl in 31.51 over the 550 yds trip.The double was completed in the seventh race when Garnageehy Lass hung on by a neck from the running on Clonkelly Class in 21.83. A3 was won by the Tommy Bolton trained Hi Ho Silver who produced a trap to line display to win by three lengths from Affane Legend in 29.89. The winner is owned by Aidan Fearon (Co. Down).Tahina Speed was ahead on the clock in the Tahina Kennels Open 400 when he won the opening heat in 21.73 after missing his break he took the lead at the opening bend and pulled away to win by a length and a quarter from Killoe Jet.Kilkenny owner Mrs Anna Hoban sent out Stage Hoburn to win the concluding heat racing up front throughout. He was challenged in the closing stages by Tikarm but he sustained this treat with ease when scoring by two lengths in 21.76.Paddy McCormack (Rhode) supplied the winner of the tenth race when his Ardera Dilemna scored by five lengths from Lady Rhythm in 29.81.
