Having been in arrears in the early stages he came from off the pace in the home straight to snatch victory by half a length from Lissaroon Mini in 30.66.Tougher Times broke in front in the 400 yds fifth race and made all the running to score by six and a half lengths from the chasing Fahy Gold in 21.82. This even money favourite is trained in Clonaslee by Mark Cusack for Dublin owner Lorcan Cribben and Gearoid Lynch. From a level break in the 525 yds sixth race Offaly Blue led into the home straight where Run on Hawk came from off the pace in the late stages to claim the spoils by one and a quarter lengths form the longtime leader in 30.30 for the Durrow (Laois) Run On Syndicate.Sail on Jack got her usual flyer from traps and held pole position all the way by two and a half lengths from the chasing Fern Diamond in 22.01. The winner is owned in Clara by Vinny Grennan.The Rathdowney Mooreville Kennel Syndicate supplied the winner of the 525 yds eighth race with Mooreville Girl. From a level break Cuil Beauty made the running into the home straight where the chasing Mooreville Girl took control and went on to win by two and a quarter lengths in 30.29.Enfield trainer Jacqueline Lawlor recorded the first leg of a double in the 400 yds ninth race with Black Bar. After breaking in front he made all the running to score by three and three quarter lengths from Maguires Jack in 21.74.Frank Seery supplied the winner of the 400 yds tenth race with Yeah Sunrise which he trains for Edenderry owner David Hanlon. From a very fast start he held off the challenge of Lochdara Mein to win by one and a quarter lengths in 21.97.Jacqueline Lawlor completed the double in the 525 yds eleventh race with Rentman which she trains for her husband Brian. Kereight Mag got off to a great start and held pole position into the home straight. The winner is owned by Miss Sharon McKenna (Meath) and trained by David McKenna.Jason Croarkin"s (Fermanagh) Tahina Lauren hit the front down the home straight to win the fifth by a quarter of a length from Ballinamere Days in 29.92 over the 525 yds course.The sixth race was the final of the Accelerated Drains Midland Puppy Derby. Trims Motor Bar which is owned by Patrick Lynch (Meath) having won his preliminary rounds in 29.55 and 29.36 he raced up front throughout to win by four and a quarter lengths from Slick Ace in a career best 29.19.Mrs Anna Gleesons (Portlaoise) Redwood Bob did the business in the seventh race when he powered home one length to the good from Springwell Edge in 21.97 over the 400 yds trip.Penthouse Lad which is trained in Longford by Eddie Dunne for Mullingar owner Paddy Cummins came from off the pace in the ninth to land the spoils by a half a length from Company Lad in 29.82.Pat McMahon"s (Kilbeggan) Timely Dream which came in for good support in the eleventh race hit the front rounding the first bend and thereafter he maintained pole position all the way to score by six and three quarter lengths from Oh My Oh Me in 29.84.
