Hunt begins for business person of the year

The Chamber of Commerce in Mullingar is seeking nominations from its members for this year's Mullingar "Business Person of the Year" in advance of the annual Chamber Business Dinner and Awards, which is taking place on Thursday April 15.Nominees for the Business Person of the Year award must be members of Mullingar Chamber, and have started their own business in the Mullingar area.The Business Dinner and Awards, sponsored this year by CK Financials, are taking place at the Mullingar Park Hotel, and lined up as guest speaker for this year's event is the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment Mary Coughlan TD.The Chambers local guest of honour is author JP Donleavy.Tickets for the event which include a four course meal and wine which is sponsored by Allied Waste are €65 each, or a table of 10 for €600.
