Friday night shows return at Mullingar Equestrian Centre
Friday night shows are back and judging by the fine turnout for the first leg of the Autumn Pegus league last Friday we can look forward to some fun and exciting show jumping evenings in the weeks ahead. The new starting time of 5pm gave the younger riders more time and space to prepare for their class and it was very positive to see several new riders competing for the first time.Lauren Flynn, Eve Wallace and Andrew Finnerty had very good rounds in the 40cm x poles. Ruby Murray and Deirbhile Conway, under the guidance of Marion Murphy, were both delighted with their performances on Twink and Emo. The Love family were out in force with Timmy, Holly and Matthew all competing successfully. Eilis Harkin won the opening 70cm class with Emma Flynn and Sargeant finishing second. Nano Healy riding Hip Hop Horay recorded the only clear round in the 90cm. Jumping continues next Friday starting at 5pm with the 40cm.Registered ShowsSJI shows every Saturday in September starting at 9.30 for horses and ponies.
