The most popular class this week was the 60cm competition with almost 30 starters taking part. There was a very good standard throughout with over half the riders going clear. Excellent rounds from Steven Walsh, Mark Heslin and Charlie Drumm meant another three league points for each of the young riders.Ben Mills was back for the first time since the summer and he was delighted to go clear with Twink. Faye O’Neill, competing at her second show with Speckles, collected a rosette in both the 40 and 60cm classes.Clear rounds were not in abundance in the 70cm but two young ladies eased around the track with faultless rounds. First place went to Shauna Heslin and Bruno, with Lisa O’Reilly and Alainn finishing a close second. In form Roisin Gilsenan stopped the clock clear on 33.29 seconds in the 80cm to finish in top position from Sophie Walsh and Bruno. Emma Flynn and Sargenat continue their good form to finish third. There are three weeks left in this league which will be followed by the Christmas league at the end of the month. Jumping continues next Friday at 5pm.SundaysThe SJ I .
