Nicky's a Leinster House hottie

While some have claimed that she has had a quiet start to her Dail career, Longford Westmeath TD Nicky McFadden has had better luck distinguishing herself from her colleagues on the newly launched website sexytd.com.The Athlone native is currently the most desireable female member of the Dail according to the website which selects two TDs and asks the user to choose which representative the would most like to get up close and personal with.At the time of writing, Deputy McFadden had come out on top in 695 of her 1146 on-line jousts with her fellow politicians, 40 more than the second placed Leinster House "hottie" Mary Mitchell-O'Connor, also from Fine Gael.In fact, Fine Gael seems to have extended its electoral form onto sexytd.com as the top five positions in the female section are occupied by party members. The first non-Fine Gaeler to get her name on the list is Sinn Fein's Mary Lou McDonald.Longford Westmeath may have the prettiest female politician in the country, but Ms McFadden's constituency colleagues are not faring out quite so well in the male section of the website.(For more see this week's Examiner)
