Cheltenham win for O'Leary-owned horse

The Westmeath-owned Sir Des Champs fired a warning shot ahead of 2013's Cheltenham Gold Cup by winning the Jewson Novices' Chase at the Cheltenham Festival today.Trained by Willie Mullins, ridden by Davy Russell and owned by Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary's Gigginstown House Stud outside Delvin, the six year won the chase by four and a half lengths from Champion Court."We've been hitting the crossbar all week so it's great to finally stick one in the net," O'Leary said after the race.
